CloseFuel can be obtained through your agent and it can be delivered by jugs to your boat with an electric pump, to pump from the jugs to your tanks.
There is diesel at the gas station slightly out of town. Cruisers have used Luis Parado Perez at Danielita’s on Isabela, who can arrange for a taxi and assist with jerry jugging fuel from the island gas station to the dock to your dinghy, at an advantageous price.
It has also been reported that local boats often go stern-to the cement pier to receive a diesel delivery. This may also be available for yachts, enquire with Sharkskys.
Your agent can organize propane. A 5kg bottle cost US$20-25 in July 2009.
Sharksky’ a tour company on the waterfront, will send propane bottles over to Santa Cruz to be filled.
