Do not rely upon being able to get fuel here as it is illegal and you may not be able to get past the security gate with your cans.

Alternatively, contact Captain Salah (just outside the gate) and he will get you permission to bring in up to a maximum of 5 jugs. Go out hail a taxi and buy it at the station for 25 US cents per litre. (2010)

Mohamed Mohsen of the Suez Canal Authority Yachts Team reports:

Many of you are well aware of the renovations taking place at the Ismailia Yacht Marina that will be open within 6 months to provide services to all those who call at it.
We are doing all we can to make things as tolerable to you in the time being, and that’s why we listen to all your feedback, negative and positive, to help us in the process. That being said, we will suspend the collection of mandatory berthing fees at the Ismailia Yacht Club till its opening day, while any berthing upon your own request will be under the normal charges.
We only get better by working together.
Thank you so much and looking forward to receiving you all.
