The Suez Canal Authority are currently developing all yacht-related services and infrastructure in the three Canal Cities (starting with Ismailia Marina). Lots of services are planned including maintenance, yacht cleaning, toilets & showers, business center,  club house, barber shop, ATM, kids play area, medical service, garbage service, coffee shop & restaurant, Laundry, water & electricity etc. They are also working towards having a digital documentation service for the transiting/berthing yachts.

The Ismailia Yacht Marina is currently being upgraded.

To book a berth or enquire, contact the Suez Canal Authority at yachtsmarina@suezcanal.gov.eg.

The marina has guards at the gate and they generally check passports every time. They might also expect a “gift” when bringing anything into the marina (groceries, fuel etc.), although this is not always the case.

There are some mooring buoys, otherwise, use your anchor for stern-to mooring or anchor off.

Mohamed Mohsen of the Suez Canal Authority Yachts Team reports:

Many of you are well aware of the renovations taking place at the Ismailia Yacht Marina that will be open within 6 months to provide services to all those who call at it.
We are doing all we can to make things as tolerable to you in the time being, and that’s why we listen to all your feedback, negative and positive, to help us in the process. That being said, we will suspend the collection of mandatory berthing fees at the Ismailia Yacht Club till its opening day, while any berthing upon your own request will be under the normal charges.
We only get better by working together.
Thank you so much and looking forward to receiving you all.
