Passports must be valid for six months.

Immigration Procedure:

All foreign visitors who wish to travel to Tokelau must apply to obtain an entry permit to enter Tokelau. Contact should be made at least 1 month before your intended visit.

The visitors permit allows the holder to be in Tokelau for a period not exceeding 10 days.

NZ passport holders are exempt from this process and can remain in the territory for up to 10 days without a permit.

A permit holder who is in Tokelau may at any time apply for a new permit before the expiry of the holder’s current permit.
