Local transport is by bus, tram and, train.

Train information can be obtained at:

Public transport tickets must be punched before traveling. Tickets must be validated at the start of the journey, at the yellow machines at the entrance to the metro stations or on board buses and trams. You will be fined on the spot if you are traveling with an invalid ticket, usually 120zl (around $40US). Tickets can be bought at most newspaper stands and kiosks with a sign reading “Bilety”.

There is a zero tolerance for drink driving in Poland. If you drive and have been drinking (even 1 unit of alcohol) you can be charged.

    Along the polish coast there is a large number of military shooting ranges, which are mapped as forbidden areas. These areas however are only forbidden during exercises. Internet site https://bhmw.gov.pl/en/warnings/current/ has a map of the military activities and other navigational warnings. Additionally a PDF can be downloaded for each area with the dates the area is closed. The PDF is in Polish and English
