Ny Alesund - Docking
Visiting yachts may use the new dock and pontoon, for which a charge is made, but anchoring is free. There is both water and fuel (diesel and petrol) on the main quay managed by the Port Captain (monitors channel 16, working channel 12). Rubbish can leave at the dock.
Harbour Master may give permission to berth free on outside of jetty for a short daytime stop (subject to cruise ship movements).
Anchor West of the old pier in 3m. There is a charge of 93 NOK per person. This includes showers.
There is no mobile phone coverage here.
Internet access in the Harbour Office only (ask permission).
