100 USD for a week at Marina Sureste. There are a nice bath HQ and a pool. No laundry on site, or fuel. Docks are fixed wooden

I just arrived at Marina Sureste this morning.
Axel, the manager, called customs for me. They were at the boat in an hour and gone within 15 minutes.
It helped that I speak a bit of Spanish, but they were helpful with that.
They wanted to see my US Doc for the boat, my radio license,
my insurance (bought through NovaMar, specifically Mexican insurance, cheap and short term), and my passport.

I forgot about the Dept of Agriculture. They came while I was at lunch, but the manager was able to sign something for me, and that was taken care of.

The town of Progreso is a typical town, with a beachside flare. There are fancy restaurants there, not my style, but I ate at Crabster. It was good, and cost about $25usd for a fancy lunch and two beers.

Nothing is really walking able, but uber exists here, so I was able to get to the bank to change currency without actually having pesos to pay the driver.
Must have a passport to change currency!

Axel was able to line up a guy for some engine trouble I had. We’ll see how that goes. I expect just fine.
