I stayed two nights in Cala Galera in, April 30 and May 1. April prices are 19 euro for my 11.4 meter. May 1 is holiday in Italy so the prices was more than doubled. Prices in high season is around 70. Cala Galera is an important yachting center with all kinds of service. The village is very small though and has nothing to offer. There are some restaurants and bars around the marina. One can anchor in the bay,so the second night I went out there. It is good holding in sand and a lot of space. 300 meters from the beach is the closest allowed, according to Italian law.

From Cala Galera it is a two kilometer walk to Porto Ercoli (or a dinghy ride). There is a small COOP and some alimentaris in the town, which is quite nice. The port does not take visitors I was told, it is run by an association. La Capitaneria was closed so I could not get it confirmed, so better to call in advance.
