Helsinki - Provisions & Laundry
Small grocery stores are generally open on Sundays all year. Other shops close 6 pm Saturdays and all day Sunday.
Market Square (Kauppatori). At the end of Esplanadi facing the sea, this open-air market sells fresh fish and produce from all over Finland.
Hakaniemi Market Hall (Hakaniemen kauppahalli). A busy market frequented by locals, this is where you can find specialities at affordable prices. The first floor is the food hall.
Old Market Hall (Vanha kauppahalli). Next to Market Square, this market has Finland’s best collection of gourmet food. Try to find a stall selling beaver sausages!
