According to RAN sailing in 2018, Quepos wanted to charge them US$3 /foot/day to stay in the marina, and US$500 each for check in and for check out
Quepos is a wonderful little town with most everything you need right there. The marina Pez Vela is the only good place to haul out if necessary. Ultra modern facilities and capable, skilled workers. The town is immediately adjacent to the marina and hosts several good provisioning shops, restaurants and a good laundry by the Banco National. Need parts? Visit Norma at the cigar shop across from the soccer field.
Her husband works in the AC business, and she speaks fluent English and can set you up with anything and everything you might need. If you wish to anchor out instead of staying at the marina (which is pricey) go to Playa Biesanz, just SE of the marina. if you arrive at high tide keep a watch out until you have been through low tide due to rocks not mentioned in online and print guides that are visible at low tide.
A steep trail from shore will take you up to the road where you can catch a taxi to town. Call from the beach (or ask one of the vendors to do so for you) and the taxi will be waiting for you at the top. Good snorkelling around the reef here with lots of fish but variable visibility. We stayed at anchor for a month and enjoyed it very much.
