    We went through Indian Cut yesterday, westbound, at dead low tide. The least that we saw between the first waypoint and the reef was 6′. however, there are two low spots before the first waypoint. One is about three miles before the waypoint and was 5.5′. The second was about 1.5 miles before was 5.25′.

    OId Bahama Bay resort is open, but the Marina still has no water or electricity. They are uncertain when that will return.

    Update following Hurricane Matthew – October 2016:

    West End customs are clearing incoming yachts, but phones are still down.
    Old Bahama Bay is open for business with minimal damage to their docks. However, they currently have no fuel, electricity or water available.
