Following the re-opening of maritime borders to yachts in October 2022, the Niue Yacht Club Committee is in the process of re-forming and the YC club house is undergoing substantial reform work. The NYC website is currently offline while a new booking system is being implemented, hopefully live by April 2023.
The NYC club house (HQ) is in the process of being re-located for 2023. Once established, this is a place you can bring your laptops ashore and “chill out” with free wifi in the lounge.
There is a charge for moorings – see the docking page for fees, which includes safe mooring that are well maintained. The NYC makes a payment to the Government for the services they provide on the wharf; an electric winch for lifting tenders out while ashore (a 3 point bridle needed), safe drinking water available at the base of the electric winch.
A fee for trash removal must be paid at clearance.
There are two washroom units, with solar-heated showers, a large Stainless steel basin and “head”, situated 100 meters up from the wharf landing, just above the bright blue “Welcome to Niue” sign. The shower facilities are being upgraded for 2023 with a new roof and solar panels fitted.
Keys for the shower and toilet block on the wharf are available at Niue Yacht Club HQ who maintain these facilities.
