Rapa Nui (Easter Island) Anchoring Guide
June 2008: Useful anchoring guide for Easter Island from Bruce and Alene from SV Migration who spent five weeks there in 2008.

We spent 5 weeks at Easter Island in April & June of 2008. Shifting winds chased us around the island several times and we became familiar with some of the other anchorages.
We were surprised by the water clarity and the truly beautiful coral. At Hanga Roa, it is often difficult to know where to anchor to avoid the coral so we created this guide to help. It also contains information on the other anchorages that we know of.
