Barbados, Bridgetown: Attempted Theft from Dinghy Dock
A potential dinghy theft was thwarted when a man was scared away while attempting to cut the locking cable which was securing a dinghy to the dinghy dock in Bridgetown, Barbados.

DETAILS:
At 1145HRS a cruiser noticed a man had started the engine and was attempting to cut the locking cable of a dinghy that was locked to the dinghy dock. He took a photo and asked the man if this was his dinghy and suggested the photo would be provided to the police. The unsuccessful thief departed.
The owner was advised later and learned that another dinghy had been stolen from an anchored yacht a few nights previously.
