Puerto Banus & Marbella - General Info
Description:
Marbella and the adjacent town of Puerto Banus are the very up-market holiday destinations of those people wishing to see-and-be-seen. Although, away from the waterfront glitz, both towns exhibit the real Spain of pavement cafes and tapas bars.
See the report Impressions of Marbella for feedback from cruisers who have visited here.
Position:
36° 30.29’N, 04° 53.57’W (Marbella marina entrance)

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

A very nice city. Puerto deportivo is not the best organized marina, but is right in the middle of the nightlife (if you like it).
Despite being called Port of Entry there is no Policia de Frontera in Marbella to stamp your passport if you require it. You will have to go to Malaga or Algericas (you can do it by bus though).
