Description:

The smallest inhabited island of the Dodecanese lies 6.4 kms (four miles) west of the island of Rhodes. The town is very attractive and welcoming for visiting yachts. Behind the town on a hill are ruins of a medieval Knights of St. John castle.

Entrance is straightforward.  Strong southerly or northeasterly winds will push a swell into the harbor.

    I was inChalki harbor the 11th of may 2019. The yachtpontoon was not installed and when trying to moore at a quay the say to us that it is for the fishermen, so we left.
