Dana Greyson (aka Galley Wench) and Wayne Seitz started cruising in earnest in 2012, when Wayne figured Dana—a non-sailor—would enjoy working out what to do with mystery foods in a tropical paradise. They bought a 36′ Pearson 365 sailboat and set off. So far they’ve cruised through 31 countries in the Caribbean, the South Pacific, the Pacific Northwest and soon—the US East Coast. They’ve just sold their third cruising boat, a Gulfstar 45 sailboat and plan to call Fort Pierce, Florida home base while Dana completes her sailing memoir. For now, their only boat is a kayak, but they don’t expect that to last for too long.
