Located at Richards Bay Harbour in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The club offers all facilities like hot showers, laundry, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. The walk-on jetties and the wall where yachts larger than 50 feet are accommodated have electricity and water available. There is a well-stocked chandlery. The Club has 24-hour security and is considered safe. 

Although the premises are a bit off track, club members always try to assist visiting yachts by giving them lifts to shopping areas.

The boatyard has an interesting type of travel lift and long term hardstand storage. The jack stands are just logs but seem to work well.

Every Monday evening there is a “bring and braai” (potluck). For sailing enthusiasts there is keeler sailing and a program for junior sail training is under way. Fish cleaning area and braai facilities are also available.

Note: Due to current economic climate, there will no longer be a two week free period for live aboard and visiting membership.
