This marina was constructed by the Malaysian Government and originally it had 120 berths and good facilities. However, it has been severely neglected and is now in a very poor state of repair. There are no regular staff operating the facility and the electricity, water and toilet and shower facilities are not working. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. It is useable for a short stopover but offers very little. Due to trapped water in the pontoons, the mosquitoes are bad.

The marina is very isolated, 2.5 hrs in a taxi from KL and 1 hr from Lotus/Carrefour/Giant supermarket.

Note: Tidal flow is strong at springs but you can tie up on the outer pontoon in fast tidal conditions (if they have not all drifted away) and move inside as the flow reduces.
