Report August 2018 from S/Y Aramon

This is an excellent stopover with plenty of bars and restaurants. Shopping is good too. Harbour capacity is limited, however, and don’t count on being able to use the port side pontoons. They are usually full and there are draft limitations too.

Report 29 September 2016, from SY Funny Girl:

I am now in Astrous harbour. There are 2 new floating jetties and the outside breakwater is completely reformed to receive yachts.

Really a nice job with polished concrete and natural stones to form the outside wall. Every 5 meters there is a heavy bollard (can have 500 tons of force).

There are several service poles with electricity and water, cards to activate this are available at the harbor masters office.

One is visiting at 10:30 and one is visiting at 19:00 hrs.
The harbormasters are very friendly, helpful and speak good English.

    Costs:
400 liters of water cost 4€
Electricity we don’t know as it is not connected yet.
Standard Greek tariff means our 14-meter boat cost 8,16 € a night.
