Description:

The island of Limnos is rather isolated from the other islands in the eastern Sporades group and, as a consequence, is less visited by tourists (and yachts). However, it has good harbors, great beaches and clean water.

The town of Mirina (or Myrina) has interesting alleyways and small shops and the whole is overlooked by a prominent Genoese castle. It is on the west coast of the island.

Position:

39°52.32’N, 25°03.00’E (Mirina harbor entrance)

One can check out here. The process is rather cumbersome as your passport is stamped at the police building in town, which shard to locate.

We checked out 2 days before our visas expired but when asked, we were told that if the weather was bad, on day 90 check out and stay on board (or very close to it) until the weather changes.
