A new free service to get access to Google, Websites and (soon) News while traveling in remote places with a slow/restricted internet connection has been developed by a sailor for sailors.
While travelling the world as a Digital Nomad, Patrick Losert was always struggling to ensure he had an internet connection for emails or to do research. While he could access emails when he got an IridiumGo satellite plan for satellite, he could not do a Google search or get website text.
During his Pacific Crossing, he searched for ways to do all this via the IridiumGo. Now, after months of development and testing he has released his new service called Webmailor.
The service is currently free and offers three levels of access.
