In 2020, an estimated 10,000 small boats, sailed by families and individuals, are out exploring the world’s oceans. They travel from country to country along traditional trade routes, which are dictated by seasonal changes. When cyclone season comes, the goal is to be one step ahead of the storms. When Covid-19 brought the world to a halt, these sailors, whose boat is often their only home, became stuck.
